Laos - Girl Overboard

Arriving at the Thailand border from Laos a group of about eight of us were just getting off of the boat that took us across the Mekong River when a man carrying a large gas canister suddenly lost his footing and tumbled dropping the canister. As it hit the ground the canister let out a loud hissing noise, we all turned to see what had happened, and as we turned back we realized that one of the girls had jumped off of the boat and straight into the Mekong with her backpack full of her belongings. It was the funniest sight and more than made the days traveling we had ahead of us more bearable.
